Lifestyle and Tinnitus

 

 

  1. Some food may worsen the tinnitus condition. These foods include tea, chocolate, coffee and cola drinks. Therefore, try to avoid all these things.
  2. According to ayurveda, tinnitus is a Vata disorder, so ghee (Clarified butter) may also beneficial if tolerated well for the tinnitus.
  3. Avoid alcohol, as it may worsen the tinnitus symptoms.
  4. Be aware of the foods and items that cause increase in ringing symptoms. Identify and avoid all of them as much as possible.
  5. Take an appropriate sleep. Sleep disturbances may also worsen the symptoms of tinnitus.
  6. Smoking is linked with narrowing of the blood vessels and lead to less oxygen supply to the important organs. Avoid smoking to reduce its effect on the brain and blood vessels.
  7. Keep yourself physically active. Take parts in games and do regular exercises.
  8. Keeping yourself mentally active is also important, as physically activeness. It helps to keep your brain active and improves brain health.
