What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus is an ear disease in which a person experience ringing and booming sensation. It can affect one or both ears.
In ayurveda, Karnanada or Karnasweda word are described about the tinnitus. As per ayurvedic science, tinnitus occurs due to disturbance or aggravation of the Vata humor in the ears. Generally, Prana Vata is responsible for the disease. Prana Vata governs all brain and neurological functions including hearing. According to ayurveda, tinnitus may occurs due to following causes:
